The third compendium of our submissions to the Hardware Jams Weekend Challenges during 2023.

You can find all these submissions, with their accompanying videos made by Grace, on both our YouTube channels. The artwork across this site is made of stills from the YT videos.

The recordings are all live takes, recorded straight to stereo, with a touch of post-processing.

Hardware Jams (HWJ) is a Facebook group of (mostly) electronic musicians. Every Friday there is a new challenge posted to the group and members have until Monday evening to perform and film a jam basd on the challenge and post it to their own YouTube channel. Sponatneity and fun are the names of the game. It is a wonderful set of folk who mutually support each others' efforts at all times. On Monday nights the HWJ YouTube channel hosts a live stream-through of all the submissions and many of the artists are active in the live chat. Voting for personal favourites takes place in the Facebook group over the following few days.
